The Ohio Aerospace Institute (OAI)
has forged strategic partnerships with local businesses and innovation hubs -most notably Parallax Advanced Research and LANDWERX- to advance urban agriculture across Cleveland and Cuyahoga County. Through the Precision Urban Agriculture Initiative and its follow‑on UFARM program, OAI collaborates with urban farms like Rid-All Green Partnership, Hood Honey, and Food Strong to introduce precision farming technologies, drone-enabled soil monitoring, and IoT-based irrigation systems. These collaborations provide technical assistance, real-time data tools, and capacity-building support to transform vacant urban lots into thriving, year-round food producers-bridging innovation with community outreach and strengthening the farm-to-table network in underserved areas.
