OAI offers small businesses several access mechanisms to networking, federal funding opportunities, technical resources, grant writing assistance, and red team reviews through its Small Business Network and Industry Membership programs, or on a fee-for-service basis. In addition, OAI offers small businesses training and assistance in grant writing with a focus on engineering and physical sciences and federal agencies, such as the Departments of Defense, Homeland Security, Energy, Commerce, NSF and their Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) programs.
Throughout the year, OAI offers various lectures and seminars pertaining to technology advancement, business initiatives, or other issues affecting the growth of the aerospace economy. Our Distinguished Lecture Program brings experts to OAI’s headquarters to present information on recent technological advances and promote the exchange of ideas. Topics range from general interest information to highly technical or specialized presentations. Lectures are open to the public, including students planning on entering a technical or aerospace-related field. OAI members can provide input on topics or lecturers of interest to them. Programs are videotaped and made available to OAI members unable to attend.
