The Burrell Observatory is proud to host an open house program on Friday November 2, 2018 at 7:30 PM. Dr. Veronica Dexheimer from Kent State University will present a lecture on Neutron stars. Neutron stars are some of the most exotic objects in the universe. They are the remnants of the explosion of very massive stars. They spin at hundreds of times each second and they are so dense that a single teaspoon would weigh a billion tons.
